Mount Walker is a Jump Up which is approximately 1O kilometres south of Hughenden in Queensland and has six separate lookouts that give spectacular view of the district. Visit all six to get 360 degree views at about 478 metres above sea level. This is a popular place at sunset allowing keen photographer to get some amazing shots.
Unfortunately on our visit to Mount Walker the rain was coming in and it was very cloudy - of course we would not complain about the weather as the countryside is very dry and the farmers need all the water they can get. Needless to say we still got some great photos.
