Observatory Point is about 15 kilometres west of Esperance when following the Great Ocean Drive along Twilight Beach Road. You can pick up a map from the Visitor Information Centre marking points of interest along this tourist drive - we tried to stop at each spot as there are plenty of photo opportunities.
What a beautiful spot to see the colours of the ocean and several of the islands that sit just off the shore of this beautiful coastline. There are quite a few stairs to climb, from the car park, leading up to the viewing platform at Observatory Point - definitely worth the effort for the wonderful views.
