Thistle Cove is one of the many beautiful spots to visit in Cape Le Grand National Park near Esperance in Western Australia. One of the interesting things to look out for - or rather listen for - are whistling rocks. Shapes, or cracks, in the large granite rocks at Thistle Cove create a whistling sound when the wind is blowing. There was a small breeze blowing on the day we visited this area and you could distinctly hear this sound.
Thistle Cove is a great place to explore or even try your hand at fishing - warning signs are displayed regarding rock fishing in the area.
