Babinda Rotary Park Campground

The Rotary Park Campground is across the Bruce Highway from the main street of Babinda and looks like a lovely spot to spend a few days. During our visit it appeared to be popular with lovely shaded  alongside the river.  We saw a number of people enjoying a cool dip in the clear water and I am told this is a popular fishing spot.

Babinda is an RV friendly town and you are welcome to stay at the Rotary Park Campground for up to 72 hours - just a short walk to the shops and restaurants of this lovely little town.  Sites are un-powered and a coin operated shower block is located within the area. Dogs are allowed and facilities of the campground include dump point, toilets, barbeques and picnic tables.

We would not hesitate to stay here on our next trip through northern Queensland.
